Dealer price versus IRA account costs
Augusta states that no additional commission is added to prices listed by Augusta and that prices quoted by its order desk are the prices customers pay once locked during confirmation. A self-directed IRA can still involve custodian, administrative, storage and transaction-related costs.
Ask for these in writing
- Current custodian setup and annual fees
- Current storage charges
- Wire, transaction, distribution or closure charges
- Current purchase and repurchase prices for the same metal
